POLICY STATEMENT

Energy conservation is the practice to reduce the consumption of power by using energy saving measures, strategies This can be achieved by its more efficacious use by involving the actual users i.e. the staff and the students in this practice.

OBJECTIVES

• To promote energy efficiency through consistent, safe and secure methods Attested
• To create awareness among students towards minimizing the wastage of energy
• To replace all the CFL lights with the LED lights for reducing power Consumption
• To ensure switches off the appliances when not in use
• To assure acceptable indoor air quality and natural light facility

ENERGY CONSERVATION CELL

The Energy Conservation Cell in the institution was established The purpose was to make decisions and practices of using less energy which are necessary to reduce the consumption of power by using energy saving measures and strategies with the involvement of faculty and the students in this practice. The members of the cell are as below:

The cell arranges meetings to discuss important matters related to minimization of energy wastage and to acquaint with various energy saving strategies and methods at institution level and issues notices time to time with the purpose to make institution eco-efficient. Meetings, Seminars and extension lectures are organized by the cell from time to time in order to encourage the staff and students.
